Welcome to Chateau Gardens Memory Care
Springfield Senior Living
Chateau Gardens Memory Care Community offers a rare and somewhat unique service to the people of Eugene/Springfield and Lane County. The Eden Alternative’s principle-based philosophy empowers care partners to transform institutional approaches to care into the creation of a community where life is worth living. As one of the only Eden Alternative Registered Homes in the entire state of Oregon and the only one in Lane County, Chateau Gardens is helping to reframe the culture of care and change perceptions of aging in our society.
Eden Alternative philosophies have been present at Chateau Gardens since 2006. The team has worked tirelessly to “keep the soil warm,” and to build upon the efforts of her predecessor. An Eden culture directly affects resident, family, and staff satisfaction; increases employee retention; drives quality improvement; and importantly, creates an environment where the residents are able to direct their lives and live them to the fullest. Because of their efforts and support of these philosophies, and the commitment to creating a home-like environment, Chateau Gardens was honored by Ridgeline Management Company, with the Ruby Slipper Award. When you visit Chateau Gardens, be sure to ask more about the Eden Alternative.

Welcome to Southtowne Living Center – Eugene Senior Living
Experience, knowledge, understanding and awareness are key ingredients to a really good Alzheimer’s care home. Our doors at SouthTowne Living Center opened over 21 years ago. SouthTowne was the first and only secure Alzheimer’s/Dementia facility in Eugene, Oregon.
Since 1991, we’ve pioneered many of today’s current philosophies such as the Homelike Environment, Aging in Place, and treating our residents like our friends and family. The validation of seeing our ideas become increasingly commonplace in other settings and recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association is gratifying. But what we’re most proud of is taking the very best care of our residents. We honor the sacred trust you give us. Please let us know if we can help you today.
Our property layout is beneficial to Alzheimer’s/Dementia residents. With an enclosed property, meaning all rooms are interior with smaller hallways which are circular, it reduces the amount of confusion a resident would experience trying to find their way to the dining area, room, common areas, etc. Our interiors are warm and friendly, with activities abound for resident participation. Our staff-to-resident ratio is one of the highest you’ll find in any Alzheimer’s/Dementia care property. Being enclosed means staff is seconds away from each resident.

Welcome to Fox Hollow Residential Care Community
Located in a beautiful, wooded south Eugene setting, Fox Hollow is a 51-apartment residential care community — the finest facility of its type in the Eugene area. We support a resident’s right to remain as independent as possible in a home-like setting.
Each private self-contained apartment with private bath is part of a larger community, including dining and activity areas. At Fox Hollow you have choices about the services you need, the meals you eat and the activities you participate in. It means our staff treats you with the respect and dignity you deserve as a unique individual.
Unlike other facilities, Fox Hollow is small enough to preserve a true home-like atmosphere. We are committed to staying at this size in order to maintain the close relationships that develop between our staff, residents and family members.
A Campus Community
Welcome to the senior campus in Springfield, Oregon – a property that includes The Briarwood and The Woodside – two distinct assisted living communities designed to give seniors the best of all worlds: the opportunity to choose the setting that best reflects their needs and preferences, with full access to everything each community offers.
The Briarwood is an elegant three-story assisted living community with vaulted ceilings, walls of glass and many common areas for conversation, entertaining, enjoying activities or simply relaxing with friends and family.
The Woodside offers the perfect retirement living option for seniors who prefer a slow pace, with fewer neighbors. Less than half the size of Briarwood, Woodside welcomes residents into its warm, homelike embrace – a home in which the staff and residents truly are family. With both communities located right across from each other, residents take full advantage of all the offerings at each community, from our diverse activities calendar and live entertainment to family dinners and excursions outside of the Springfield area.
ElderHealth & Living
In 2006, Liz von Wellsheim, Nancy Koll, and Ronda Perkins joined their experiences in nursing, management, and memory care to create a thriving residential care community and health center for persons with memory loss.
ElderHealth & Living’s unique campus design, made up of nine homes that accommodate 10-11 residents each, allows our staff to develop a relationship with each resident, learn their daily routines, and understand their needs through the progression of memory loss. By seeing each person as an individual, we use their strengths and interests to provide the best care possible.
