ElderHealth & Living Memory Village

“We are a village where older adults with memory loss gather; some come for visits and others live here. Our village is created purely for persons with memory loss diseases to find comfort, freedom to be themselves, and to thrive. ElderHealth & Living Memory Village was established in 2006 and is an Oregon based company. We believe in sustainable practices, local food, healthy meals and a compassionate care team.”

Memory Village Homes
Our village has nine homes, each with central open kitchens and outdoor spaces accommodating 10 to 11 residents.
Respite & Adult Day Programs
Adult Day Care is a program for persons with memory loss still living at home who need help with personal care and whose care partner needs a break. This program offers help with showers, grooming, and enjoyable activities.
Our Respite Program allows persons with memory loss to stay overnight for one night or a few weeks.
Memory Loss Coaching
Liz von Wellsheim, MSN, MA, GNP provides memory loss coaching for families dealing with a diagnosis of memory loss to help create a road map for the future.
Support Groups & Trainings
Support Groups and educational trainings are offered for family members, caregivers, medical professionals and the general public. The Living With Memory Loss series is a ten week class offered three times a year.

A Campus Community

Welcome to the senior campus in Springfield, Oregon – a property that includes The Briarwood and The Woodside – two distinct assisted living communities designed to give seniors the best of all worlds: the opportunity to choose the setting that best reflects their needs and preferences, with full access to everything each community offers.

The Briarwood is an elegant three-story assisted living community with vaulted ceilings, walls of glass and many common areas for conversation, entertaining, enjoying activities or simply relaxing with friends and family.

The Woodside offers the perfect retirement living option for seniors who prefer a slow pace, with fewer neighbors. Less than half the size of Briarwood, Woodside welcomes residents into its warm, homelike embrace – a home in which the staff and residents truly are family. With both communities located right across from each other, residents take full advantage of all the offerings at each community, from our diverse activities calendar and live entertainment to family dinners and excursions outside of the Springfield area.
